You will come to the U.S. in Exchange Visitor Visa status (J-1 Visa). Upon acceptance to the program and completion of all required documents, your AquaSafe recruiter will provide you Form DS-2019. You will take this document to the U.S. Consulate in your country to apply for the J-1 visa.
J-1 visa allows you to work in the U.S. for up to 4 months. You are also allowed an extra 30-day "grace period" after the termination date for the purposes of travel and departure. You can neither work during this period nor travel outside the U.S. and return. This grace period may be used for travel within the U.S. and explore the beauty of the American Continent.
